Milk-Fed Veal, U.S. | Meat House Gourmet Butcher

VEAL

Our milk-fed veal meat is sourced from Marcho Farms. They’re a rural American family farm that’s been raising livestock since 1969 in the Pennsylvania Dutch region of Montgomery County. They believe in doing things the right way. This means constantly learning and engaging in the highest standard of care for the livestock they raise in low-stress environments perfectly suited to their comfort and needs. Their business partners with over one hundred Amish family farms to supply first-in-class veal products to homes and restaurant plates throughout the United States and beyond. Veal is an excellent source of protein, iron, zinc, and B vitamins. It is also low in fat and calories. Additionally, veal is a good source of selenium, which is an important mineral for maintaining a healthy immune system.
